Reiki Long Distance Healing
Here's how to participate in the monthly group Long-Distance Reiki Healings for and by NobleReiki.com newsletter readers.
The process always proceeds in two phases:
(1) I send out an email announcing that month's Group Long-Distance Reiki Healing date and time. In that email, I let the readers of my newsletter know that I am now taking healing requests for that month's group Healing. Healing requests and long-distance Reiki healing are strictly voluntary, of course. The Group Long-Distance Healing usually takes place on the last weekend of the month. I try to alternate Saturdays and Sundays. Once in a while, if there is a particularly auspicious date and/or time, I will vary from this schedule.
(2) I then collect all the requests, turn them into an email, and send that email out to all the newsletter readers, about two days before the date of the Long-Distance Healing. Requests can be for yourself, for friends, family members, pets, etc. They can be about physical healing needs, emotional healing needs, general Reiki healing needs, and financial healing needs. Please note that some people prefer that I do not publish their request in the email I send out, but would rather that only I send them Reiki at the appropriate date and time. You must indicate this in your response, or else I will assume it is OK to put the information you give me in the email that goes out to the entire group.
Only readers of my Reiki newsletter receive these notifications. So if you are not yet signed up for my Reiki newsletter and would like to participate, click on this link to sign up:
I will always indicate the date and time for the group Long-Distance Reiki healings. That time will be indicated in Eastern U.S. time. If you need to figure out what time that is in your part of the world, here's a website where you can convert that time to your local time:
http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc
(Be sure to click the button next to "Use The Following Date/Time" and enter the date and time I've listed above. Convert from US/Eastern time to your local time. The local time will show up in red at the top of the blue-outlined box, once you click "Convert Time Now".)
The Group Long-Distance Reiki healing is not a teleconference or anything like that. Rather, we all try, in our individual ways, to send Reiki healing out to those who need it at approximately the same time. This maximizes our group energy. However, don't worry if you can't do it at the exact time specified. Just take a moment, if you can, sometime on that date or one day soon and send Reiki to those who need it. If you don't have the time, or don't feel up to the task, then we'll all understand.
If you have requested Reiki for yourself, either from the group or from me only, you might sit quietly for a short while at the approximate time of the Group healing. Concentrate on being open to receiving the Reiki. You might visualize your Crown Chakra open and receptive, or your Heart Chakra, or any other Chakra you feel needs to receive the Reiki.
If you are sending Reiki to all or part of the list, just find a quiet place for a little while at the appropriate time for your time zone, or any other time that day that you have a spare moment. You can spend 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes on this -- whatever you feel you can give is fine. I like to sit with a favorite crystal or gemstone, but that is not strictly necessary.
If you have been attuned to Level II Reiki, you already know how to do Long Distance Reiki and how to use the Long Distance Symbol. Some people like to draw the Reiki Long Distance Symbol over the list, while others like to simply look at a picture of the Long Distance Symbol. If you have forgotten what the Reiki Long Distance Symbol looks like, you can see it below:

But even if you have no Reiki attunements yet, you can still send out loving, positive energy out. You can visualize or otherwise imagine the energy flowing from your hands out to those who need it, traveling through space and time. There's no "right" or "wrong" way to imagine it. Your positive intention is always the most important thing.
If you don't have a lot of time, you don't have to send Reiki to each individual on the list. Just read this list over and then send the Reiki out; it will know where to go. And if just a few names/requests jump out at you and that's all the time you have, just go with those names. I don't want anyone to feel stressed because they are pressed for time!
Another way to approach this is to print the list out, and then you place your hands on the list at the appropriate time. That's absolutely a fine way to do it and a great efficient use of time. Alternatively, you could have the list on your computer screen and simply hold your hands out to the screen. Reiki works in many ways and it has a wisdom of its own. Some people like to use a "surrogate" like a doll or a teddy bear, and place their hands on the surrogate at the appropriate time. Or you can simply close your eyes at the appropriate time and send Reiki out to all who have requested it and/or need it. So no fuss, no stress -- just do what you can and it will be appreciated.
We have had some amazing successes with our Group Long-Distance Reiki Healings, and that is always so encouraging! People have reported to me that they felt a lot of vibration or heat or other energy during the Healings, while others don't feel anything in particular. Although I have also felt vibrations and heat during the Healings, I want to reassure you that there is no "correct" or "incorrect" way to experience this. Just do what you can, and let the Reiki do its work!
Namaste,
Loretta
